A 1963 Austin/Vanden Plas A135 Princess Limousine in brilliant wedding white. Featuring air-conditioning, stereo/mp3 player, original wood accents throughout, sliding glass divider, leather interior, beautifully reconditioned with two spacious and comfortable bench seats facing each other in the passenger compartment. Vanden Plas was the coachbuilder for many of the world’s finest automobiles including Rolls Royce, Bentley and Daimler. Later, Vanden Plas teamed with British automaker Austin Motor Company to produce the A135 limousine designed for the Royal Family and heads of state. When Queen Elizabeth (then Princess Elizabeth) first caught a glimpse of these vehicles at an unveiling, she ordered two on the spot. After this, the car was christened the “Princess”. The Princess limo became the car of choice for the Royal Family for their unmatched roominess, reliability and comfort.
